How do I know if classes will be canceled due to snow or other weather conditions?
If classes are canceled due to bad weather, you will receive a call from your instructor notifying you of the situation. Please be sure we have a current daytime phone number for you so you can be contacted.

If you paid your fees to a Recreation Center or Community Education Department, you will be notified by their department if classes are canceled.

The next time your class meets, your instructor will notify you how this missed class will be made up.

As a general rule, if you attend classes at a school and the school was closed that day, your classes will also be canceled that evening. If you attend class at a Church, Recreation Center, or non-school location, the chances are good that the roads will be clear by evening and you will have class.

For early morning classes, listen to television or radio news bulletins. If the schools are closed in the city where you take class, these classes will be canceled.

If it starts to snow heavily around rush hour, and you did not receive a call from your instructor notifying you that classes would be canceled, you will still have class. However, if you do not feel safe driving in very bad weather conditions, we will do our best to make up this class for you. Your safety comes first! Please call our office and ask to speak to one of our Customer Service Representatives or email us within 24-hours of the missed class.
