This video starts out with a seven-minute stretch. These relaxing ballet/yoga-type stretches are designed to increase flexibility, elongate and streamline the muscles, and prepare your body for the workout. Then, each weight training exercise will be fully explained and demonstrated so you will know exactly what you are doing before you actually perform the exercise. The recommended starting weight is 3 to 5-pound dumbbells (each).
You'll learn how to target those hard-to-firm trouble spots such as the backs of the legs where the thigh meets the buttocks, the undersides of the arms, the sides of the hips, the lower abdominals and more. Over 30 precision weight training exercises will be taught in this one-hour workout video. Even if you have never held a dumbbell before, this user-friendly workout will make your entire body stronger and visibly slimmer - FASTER!
Simple, yet effective moves, steady pace, continuous instruction, and precise cueing make WEIGHTS® I ideal for beginner weight training exercisers. At the same time, intermediate exercisers (perhaps even advanced) can get a good workout by fast forwarding during the instruction segments of each exercise. You can adjust the workout to suit your fitness level by simply increasing or decreasing the weight of the dumbbells you use, or by increasing or decreasing the resting time between sets.
Once you have finished this workout, expect some moderate soreness for one to four days following. Do not work out again until your muscles have fully recovered from the workout. If you have never worked out with weights before, DO NOT use weights for the leg portion of the workout. Follow the instructions given on the video for best results. This workout really WORKS!
